"Do you know Daniel, the pastor? Did you know he is a pastor? He is a Pastor and a Bad A$$" Hannah just about fell off of the bench when one of her and Daniel's boys made this observation in total admiration. He was impressed by Daniel's ability to drive in spikes with a couple of blows of the hammer, his athletic prowess while playing baseball, and his general ability at whatever he puts his hand to. The camper went on to say, "Not only is he a bad a$$, he is a really cool guy." He proceeded to tell how Daniel brought a gift from America just for him. (It was a Bible, and it is a cool story, so ask about it when we get back.
We are recovering from the hike, but the fatigue of the camp is starting to set in. Sarah spent much of her day with three campers who physically were unable to participate in games, God has been working in a special way in all three of them. Seth is Mr. Popular around the camp. . . and not just with the ladies. Only one guy was signed up for American football, but when they found out who was leading it, four more joined in the game. One of the girls who Hannah has been praying for for two years, asked today for prayer that she would trust God, because He is the one who is able to save and help us better than anyone else.
